What we found in the XT-301 was the worlds finest personal water ozonator. The XT-301 hold two United States patents for it's advanced method of producing ozone, and one patent for it's air pump. 
The air pump is usually one of the first components to breakdown on a water ozone purifier. 
Rubber diaphragms can crack and leak in just a few months of use.

Purifying water with the XT-301 could not be more simple.  A simple air hose leads to an aquarium type rock that bubbles the ozone through water.  Place the hose in a gallon, or larger jug of water.  Set the automatic timer for the 15, 30, or 45 min preset time and watch the as ozone bubbles through the water and purifies it.  A gallon of water takes no more than 15 minutes to purify. Since the machine will turn off automatically after it's preset time, all you have to do is set it and forget it. Water cannot be over ozonated, so even if the machine runs longer no damage will occur. Ozonated water is completely safe to drink since none of the ozone remains in the water. Ozone is only 100% Oxygen! Not only will you make the best tasting water you've ever had, it will also be the purest. The XT-301 also has a continuous setting for use without the timer.

The XT-301 can be used on a counter top or can even be mounted on the wall vertically so that when not needed it is out of the way. This compact unit is only 14" X 8" X 4.3" tall, so that if mounted on the wall it takes up almost no space at all.

When  fruits, vegetables, seafood, and meat are placed in ozanated water, surface bacteria are killed. Harmful pesticides and herbicides are rendered inert making foods safer to consume.

The Food and Drug Administration has amended its food additive regulations to permit ozone use as an anti microbial agent. The amendment, published in the Federal Register 
on June, 28 2001 allows for ozone use in gaseous and aqueous uses, and for safe and effective anti microbial treatment of meat, poultry, and other food products.

The FDA has also asked all bottled water company's to ozanate their water in order to prevent disease. The XT-301 can also be used to make ozonated olive oil.  When ozone is bubbled through pure olive oil for a long period of time it will thicken into a paste like salve. Water filters don't have the ability to actually kill bacteria in water.  Filtering water only removes solid compounds, it does not purify, meaning kill the bacteria that may be present in the water.

Water distillers can kill bacteria, but they are usually not made very well, and hard to keep clean.
Most of the distillers offered today are only sold through multi level marketers. They are more interested in the profits rather than the product.

The idea to sanitize water or food is to introduce a large amount of ozone into the water. 
If only very low levels of ozone are used not very much of the bacteria or pesticides will be eliminated. 

The Air-Zone® XT-301 has a powerful 300 mg/hr. of ozone output which is a very high concentration for an ozone water purifier. To truly purify water it takes several minutes to bubble ozone directly through the water. 
Simply injecting ozone, as a water stream passes by, only introduces a very low level of ozone into the water. That low level of ozone is just not enough to fully purify the water. If fact that method of water purification takes a much higher level of ozone than ours, or their can produce. 

Because those machines are exactly that, "cheaper", in parts, design, and build.

Most ozone water purifiers only last a year or so because the ozone elements or the pump itself.

Typical air pumps used in water ozone purifier pumps have a simple rubber diaphragm.  After a time the ozone can degrade this part which is directly in contact of the ozone. It can be months, or even a year or more but eventually ALL air pumps in ozone water purifiers will fail.  If you use this machine a lot this should be very important to you.

The Air-Zone® XT-301 has a specially coated diaphragm that will not degrade under direct ozone contact.  Since this is patented NO other water ozone purifier can use this type of design.

Almost all of the bottled water sold is ozanated to make sure the bacteria is killed. According to the United States FDA ozone must be added to attain a residual of 0.3 mg/L. to be considered safe for bottled water. The Air-Zone XT-5600W and XT1800W water ozanators can achieve continuous ozone concentrations of 0.56 mg/L, twice as high as the FDA standard of 0.3 mg/L. Questions and Answers about Ozone and Water

 

What is the purpose of adding Ozone to water?

Ozone is added to water to kill diseases, bacteria, and viruses. It will also help break apart chlorine.

No, ozone does not replace a water filter. In fact an in line water filter should be placed before our in line water ozonators to keep particulate matter out of the ozone machine, and out of your water.

No, ozone does not soften water or remove rust or calcium. Water should be softened, and filtered before it reaches the water ozonators.

No, there are special water filters designed to remove Fluoride from water.  One can be used before our water ozonators that will filter out Fluoride and particulate matter.

Ozone will make some chemicals inert in water as it does chloirine. However if there are strong chemical contaminants in the water ozone should not be counted on to remove them.
It all depends upon the level of contamination in the water as to how effective ozone will be in making chemicals inert. If you think there are chemicals in your water you should have it tested for.

Ozone is 100% Oxygen. That is all it is adding to the water. 

Because ozone will kill bacteria and viruses and gives you an extra level of protection. 
Ozone should be the final stage in water treatment to ensure your water is bacteria free.
