How to use an ozone generator to remove odors from rooms
Cigarette smoke and most other organic odors can be removed from hotel, motel, and apartment rooms very effectivly with high ozone shock treatments.
Choose the highest powered ozone generator possible.
The higher the ozone output the better, since ozone naturally decays back into oxygen very quickly.
With a higher powered ozone generator you can achieve a higher concentration of ozone that will remove more of the odor in a shorter period of time.
Very high levels
of ozone in unoccupied rooms are a MUST for removing serious odors.
Air purification
levels of ozone are NOT sufficient to remove most serious odors.
How to perform a High Ozone Shock Treatment.
Set the ozone generator on it's highest ozone output for as long as it takes to eliminate the odor problem. The easy to use automatic timer will enable you to operate the generator the prescribed period of time.
In most cases it takes only 20-120 minutes with the proper sized ozone generator to do a shock treatment.
A fan may be placed in the room being treated to provide good ozone distribution.
More severe odors may require longer treatment times or a larger output ozone generator.
Mold odors may very stubborn, and require a series of shock treatments.
When performing a high ozone shock treatment, make sure that all people, pets, plants and other animals are vacant from the area to be treated.
While using high
concentrations of ozone, be sure that the ozone does not leak into other
occupied rooms by means of furnace vents, doorways, or wall cracks.
